My TalkTalk App - 2016
The brief
As part of the rebrand I was tasked with redesigning the Talk Talk app icons, this included My TalkTalk, SuperSafe, TV2Go, Talk2Go and TalkTalk TV. I was also asked to redesign the My TalkTalk app, where customers can view and pay their bills, as well as keep up-to-date on their mobile usage.
The approach
Keeping the look and feel of the rebrand at the front of mind and maintaining the existing functionality of the app I reviewed our web design system adapted app components to ensure consistency with the web components where possible.
The solution
I explored lots of design iterations for the app icons to ensure the rebrand was reflected but that our identity was not lost. For the My TalkTalk app I focused particularly on components, colour, typography and imagery ensuring continuity across the touchpoints.
The outcome
A family of new app icons that reflected the new branding along with a refreshed app that was aligned to the look and feel of our online experiences.
